There are many Scholarship Programs that are sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, which can be found on the link below. One of these is the Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship, which is a scholarship for Myanmar students looking to get their Master’s Degree at a university in the United States.

To be eligible for the Fulbright scholarship, applicants:
- must be from Myanmar; individuals of other nationalities are not eligible to apply in Myanmar;
- must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (applicants with advanced degree, e.g. Masters, are also eligible);
- must have a strong academic background and a record of excellence in previous studies;
- must have a minimum paper-based TOEFL score of 575 (students must take a screening test conducted by the U.S. Embassy if they don’t have a TOEFL score, and must take the official TOEFL test after being nominated);
- should have relevant degrees or professional experience in their proposed field of study;
- should have little or no previous experience traveling or living in the United States;
- should not have a degree from a U.S. university or be enrolled in a U.S. degree program.
